Is my payout really locked when I accept?

Yes. The payout amount shown on a brief at the moment you accept is the amount you are paid once the brand approves the video. Rate updates only apply to future briefs — never to one you've already accepted. This is written into our Creator Terms, Section 5.

How long before my first payout?

Typical timeline: apply → KYC (1–2 days) → accept a brief → deliver in 3–5 days → brand approves → payout released within 5 business days of your withdrawal request. Most approved creators earn their first payout within 2 weeks of signing up.

Do I need a big following?

A modest one. The minimum is 1,000 followers on TikTok — TikTok itself requires that to enable Spark Ad authorization. Past that floor, reach doesn't matter much: UGC is about authentic content. Briefs come in two flavours — Spark UGC (you post on your own profile and grant a Spark code, up to SAR 1,500 per video) and Dark UGC (you deliver raw footage only, the brand runs it from its own ad account, up to SAR 400 per video).

What's Dark UGC?

Dark UGC means you film and deliver the raw video, but you don't post it on your own TikTok. The brand runs it as a paid ad straight from their own TikTok ad account — no Spark code, no post on your profile. Because the ask is lighter (no posting, no audience exposure), the payout cap is lower: up to SAR 400 per video. Great option if you'd rather keep your feed clean.

How does bidding work?

On open briefs you suggest a fair rate (0–1,500 SAR, within the format's cap). Competitive bids get higher acceptance chances. Brands never see your bid — admin picks the winner. The amount you bid becomes the locked payout the moment you're awarded.

What equipment do I need?

A smartphone with a decent camera (iPhone 11+ or similar Android), good natural light, and quiet audio. A basic ring light helps for face videos. That's it — no mic, no studio, no editing software required (we handle the edit if you need it).

How do payouts work?

Once the brand approves your video, the MabrookUGC team arranges your payout in SAR — fast and secure, at the full rate you locked in when you accepted the brief. No middleman fees, no surprises on payday.

Who keeps the rights to my video?

Once the brand pays for the approved video, they receive the usage rights for their marketing (see Section 8). Your personality and likeness rights remain yours — the brand can't use your face outside of that specific content. You keep the right to use the video in your own portfolio.

What happens if a brand rejects my video?

You get one free round of in-scope revisions. If the brand is asking for something outside the brief (new concept, reshoots, different product), that's a new assignment with separate pay. If you followed the brief accurately and the brand is being unreasonable, our team mediates — you get paid for honoured work.
